Time for the Academy Awards again! It's kind of obvious this year more than ever but at least they're being held in the wake of ruckus
Best Picture

Who Will Win: In general this year is feeling like some frontrunners after late.. and that top spot will go to either The Brutalist (it even reminds of last years' Oppen), Anora, or then Conclave.... but I'll go most of all with Conclave or Brutalist for being the most classic
Who Should Win: Well truly it'd be Dune Part 2(see the top 10's post!) but of the hopefuls mine would be either Brutalist or Anora for different ways
Best Director

Brady Corbet, “The Brutalist”
Coralie Fargeat, “The Substance”
James Mangold, “A Complete Unknown”
Sean Baker, “Anora”
Who Will Win: The same answer as above but moreso a Baker vs Corbet race only
Who Should Win: It'd be nice to see one get picture, one director but probably paired up. I'll go Corbet for excellence

Adrien Brody, “The Brutalist”
Colman Domingo, “Sing Sing”
Ralph Fiennes, “Conclave”
Sebastian Stan, “The Apprentice”
Timothée Chalamet, “A Complete Unknown”
Who Will Win: Without a doubt this is going to Brody. Earlier in the season there were some other hopefuls but not now. Maybeee Chalamet with dark horse potential and some recent SAG snags..
Who Should Win: Brody without a doubt too. Although Domingo would have been nice to see get it at last, and, Fiennes is up there too but some recent drama and rumors says otherwise

Who Will Win: IMO some more traditional ones or early promises have faltered... To now, it's a Moore with lead but I was thinking Fernanda Torres too. The feel good at last pick
Who Should Win: Moore without a doubt! See above.. although Madison was great too and maybe a dark horse chance

Who Will Win: Kieran , there's no doubt
Who Should Win: Kieran , there's no doubt. Although shoutouts to everyone in this category (especially Pearce + Strong's evil ones)

Who Will Win: Saldana , there's no doubt (even after controversy)
Who Should Win: No comment really. Ariana Grande was GRANDE great tho and so different even within a blockbuster

Who Will Win: This could be one where if Conclave or A Complete Unknown don't win any others, it wins this . Then maybeee by a gap just in terms of this author's quality Nickel Boys
Who Should Win: Conclave would be fun. Anything but Emilia
Best Visual Effects
Who Will Win: The battle of the blockbusters. Probably Dune Part 2 but it could be Wicked or a Better Man monke shock for quality if not for box office.. even more than the one with more monkes
Who Should Win: Plz, plz, plz let this be Dune's win at the least. Alien Romulus was close tho
Best Animated Feature
Who Will Win: It's without a doubt Wild Robot vs Flow here. With one being traditional so maybe a slight edge (And so many pre-seasons wins) in Robot, but, Flow with that indie dark horse unique vibe
Who Should Win: Memoir Of A Snail (clearly, see top 10s), Wild Robot , and Inside Out were the best
Best Costume Design

“Conclave”
Who Will Win: Conclave most likely for carrying on some of that momentum. But Wicked could win these (and not listed) "popular big shiny blockbuster" awards along with Dune (not here)
Who Should Win: Nosferatu, I wish!! Just as good as the mentioned ones.. Gladiator would be funny

Who Will Win: This feels like Brutalist bait vs Wicked blockbuster but with a possible Conclave dark horse
Who Should Win: Just to be different I'd go Wild Robot. But of the likely ones, Brutalist as well. Anything but Emilia
